I was working on a project where the client wanted me to add a Free Shipping feature to a single woo-commerce product. I decided to do this article to show you how I did it.
Log in to your WooCommerce back-end and go straight to Settings.
STEP 1. Go to the Shipping tab and click the Shipping Classes option.
STEP 2. Go to the Shipping zone option, and add a shipping zone. Add the Flat Rate shipping method to that shipping zone. Go to the Shipping Class Costs. Set the “Shipping included” value to 0. Under “No shipping class cost”, add the default flat rate amount you want. Then set the Calculation type to “Per class.”
STEP 3. Visit your product in WooCommerce. Go down to the Product data meta table, then choose the Shipping tab. Under the Shipping Class, you will see the “Shipping included” class. Select it and save the product.
And that’s it! Our next article will discuss how you can change the shipping label if the shipping cost is 0.
